City Vibe: Homeless Outreach This ministry exists to serve the homeless people of our community. There are many ways to serve: *In monthly work parties. -We sort donated survival gear, clothes, coats, blankets, sleeping bags. -We assemble emergency packs containing donated toiletries, wash clothes,and socks. *Seasonal outreaches. -We serve a hot meal. -We distribute emergency packs. -We distribute survival gear, clothes, coats, blankets, sleeping bags. -Share the love of Jesus by our actions and words. *Monthly outreaches at Walker Middle School. In conjunction with the Dream Center Medical Clinic, we distribute clothing to the comunity on a monthly basis. We invite anyone with a heart for this work to attend, contribute, and lend a voice to this growing ministry. Water Baptism The first step for a new believer is water baptism. Water baptism by immersion is an outward expression of an inward commitment and an important step of obedience for every person who has received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
